The Flog
I will be going to Bangalore to celebrate my wife's birthday. I hate long distance travelling, that is one of the many reasons i rarely explore India. Looking forward to a very great time with my lovely wife. Hopefully, there are some games that i can find there. Of course, i'll be playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow along the way. See you later.

The Funky Food: Nasi Goreng
Nasi Goreng is basically Fried Rice literally translated word by word english-bahasa melayu. I can eat this a lot. Seriously, 5-6 bowls of it. As usual, my mummy's is the best. I used to constantly nagged her to fix one for me every time i'm hungry. Be it during tea time or in the middle of the night. Now i'm older and married, i had to learn how cook it myself. It took me a LOT of trials until i manage to cook the fried rice almost like my mummy's. Booyaaa!

The Fantastic 10: Top 10 Games Of All time
I love to watch the top 10 lists of games on Youtube. It helps me in determining the games that i should play. Every one will have their own lists so i'm sure that opinions vary. My favorite on the net is from the Screwattack. Very professional with great compilations of top 10s. Stuttering Craig did an amazing job in hosting each episodes. So, without further ado here is my list of top 10 games of all time.
Another well created game. Love the time travelling and the combat in the game. The prince moves like a streaming water. Amazing level design. I have to choose the first one in the series because of having the best plot. You really need to try it yourself to know what i'm talking about. Seriously.
10. Skullmonkeys
This was a platform game made for the original Playstation. I've played it long time ago, so my description about this game is fully depending on my humble memory and Wikipedia. So, through Wikipedia that i've come to know that Skullmonkeys was actually a sequel and the first game was known as The Neverhood for the PC. The Neverhood is an adveventure game and apparently it was only released in Japan. I like the humor and the characters in the game. The game design is almost similar to the animation, Wallace and Gromit where the characters and the environments are made out of clay. It's very fun, addicting with unforgiving difficulty. The only game in my list where i have not able to complete. I was torn between choosing Crash Bandicoot and Skullmonkeys but decided to choose this one due to it being more challenging. Sadly, that i've lost the copy of the game. The game is quite difficult to find on Ebay. If it is available, it usually costs around 30$ with shipping. That i think is the cheapest i've come with so far. Seriously, one of the underrated platformers in my opinion.
9. Megaman 2
Who doesn't know about Megaman 2. If you don't, you either not a gamer or just born recently. One of the games with the best music collection, period. Just type in Megaman 2 on Youtube, for sure you'll find a lot of the game's tunes cover by many people. My favorite would be the from the 2nd Dr. Willy's stage, Woodman's and Metalman's. Love the Robot Masters and the level designs. I actually never played no 3, 5 and 6 but will do so later. The X series is also my favorite but again due to the difficulty i choose Megaman 2 as my top 9 game of all time. The X series is a bit easier compared to this one.
8. Final Fantasy Tactics
A big RPG fan but i've decided that only Final Fantasy Tactics should be on my list. The reason being is that this game has a very good replayability. By far the best tactical role playing game. You can play it over and over again without even need to follow the main story of the game. Love the job system which consists of great roster of characters to choose from. My favorite would be the Monk. They can heal themselves and have great physical attack. I need to play this game again. Ahh how i wish i have all the time in the world to do so.
7. Super C
The contra series is by far the best run and gun shoot em ups. I had to go with Super C because they have mutated helicopter as one of their bosses. Whose brilliant idea to infect a helicopter? Original, very original. Haha. I like the level where you have to penetrate the green eggs. The contra series are famous for their fast pace and intense enemies. The difficulty encourages you to keep on trying again and again until you are able to finish it. You really require some good skills for beating the game. That's what i love about Super C. Contra 4 for the DS is an excellent remake from the original Contra. I almost had to sacrifice my precious DS out of frustration in order to complete the game as well as the bonus challenges. It was indeed a sweet victory once you have completed the game. In my opinion, contra will always maintain its best with the 2D environment. So, no need to go further into their ridiculous and disappointing Legacy of War.
6. Beyond Good & Evil
I'm not going to talk much about this game mainly because my memory about it is a bit deficient. I do know that it is a really good game. How you use your camera to take pictures, the puzzle solving and the amazing story. I need to play this game again.
5. Super Mario Galaxy
The only game for the current generation on this list. I can play this game again and again without complaining. One of the best controls i've experienced in gaming. Great level designs with beautiful colors and characters. I managed to achieve 100% completion for this game. The famous Luigi's Purple Coins in the Toy Time Galaxy really took a hell lot of time to beat. Challenges were fine and forgiving. Hopping from another planet to the other sure is a lot of fun. I do have the 2nd one but due to time constraints i never had chance to play it. Based on other peoples' reviews sure makes it more exciting to play.
4. God of War
How i dream of becoming Kratos. His character is so cool with super strength capable of killing gods and he yields two blades on a long chain which is called the Blades of Chaos. Seriously, who doesn't want to become him. I find this game very interesting and unique. The quick time button commands in my opinion is really innovative. The brutality in the game is one of the best surpassing even Mortal Kombat .He rips everything off, pierce anything in his way and he kills god. Awesome. They even include a mini game showing a sex scene. Again, awesome. Thats a first one for me. Played the second one didn't like it as much as the first. Awesome game.
3. Shadow of Collosus
Anything as big as a building and become a character in a video game for sure will create a buzz in the gaming fanatics. This game is the most original game i have ever come cross to. Very beautiful and breathtaking environment. Great emotion in the character which connects remarkably well to the audience. How to kill the enemy is the main puzzle in the game. Truly innovative and creative. A game like this makes it really worth the money spent.
2. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Another well created game. Love the time travelling and the combat in the game. The prince moves like a streaming water. Amazing level design. I have to choose the first one in the series because of having the best plot. You really need to try it yourself to know what i'm talking about. Seriously.
1. Metal Gear Solid
The best among the best. Never got tired with it. I remember playing it thrice in a row for one whole night. I don't need to talk much regarding this game. For real.
So, that's about it. My Top 10 games of all time. It sure took a lot of time to compose this. Hope you enjoy the read.

The First Glimpse
The only current generation console i have is the Wii. Bought it on 2007 and fuck i'v to pay a lot for it. Sucks for being so naive at that time. I have mix feelings for the Wii. First of, the reason i bought it is because of the virtual console games. The library of games consist of the old retro stuff such as Super Mario World, Mario 3, Ocarina of Time etc. I know this through Gamespot.com while browsing their list of top games for the Wii and the virtual console games are included. I never knew that it is only downloadable without any hard copy. Yeah, i am that stupid. To make things even worst, the Wii i bought is modded. So, bye bye for the online services. Ok, some good things about the Wii. Their innovative motion control should be the highlight. I was literally jumping up and down playing the Wii Sports. It was so cool and the controls are very smooth. Then, there is Super Mario Galaxy. This has to be in one of my top ten list of best games of all time. I had such good time with it. Thank you Nintendo.
The Nintendo Entertainment System. Why do i choose to collect games from this console? Again, mainly due to nostalgia. Being in Malaysia, i grew up with the Famicom or their clone system famously known by the kids my age as the Micro Genius. So we had a couple of pirated cartridges with the multiple games inside dubbed as 10000000000 in 1. Haha being a kid you had to believe it. Contra is the one i played again and again. Same goes to Batman. The game was so addicting, my mom had to keep it away from me. Then there is this Mario game. I think it was the Lost Level. Even though the levels keep on repeating you can't stop playing it. Current games are very forgettable in my opinion. That's the thing about them and that is why i don't really care about PS3 and Xbox 360. Sure some of the games are really good, its just that the enjoyment is just temporary. The NES has one of the most games a console can afford and that too some of the best. I am going to keep this collection and pass it on to my children and hopefully theirs, Insyaallah.
Almost all of the games in my collection are from Ebay, NintendoAge and PlayAsia. Yeah, i have to deal with the extra shipping cost. But its not like its the end of the world. I think i will be able to manage it. I'm thinking of expanding my collection and getting a new console. I'm going for Shmups. Yeah, i am a big fan of the spaceships and spacecrafts intense bullet hell dodging games. Me and my cousins used to play one in the arcade and spend a whole lot of time and money on it. Before moving on to the next console, i'm thinking of getting at least 10 more NES cibs. The console i'm looking for is the Sega Saturn. Problem in buying a console is that the shipping cost itself will double the price and problems with the customs. Man i hate the customs. Once they get suspicious with the package, the'll handle it horribly. If they see a huge box and valued at more than 50$ they'll charge you with tax. Not just that, they will take their own freaking time to ship it again. I had to wait 2 months for my Yobo to arrive at my home. Yeah, i'm talking about my place in India. Hopefully, i won't have to deal with this kind of stuff back at home in Malaysia.
So, this is my small and humble collection of games. I call them as my precious babies. I love them so much. But of course not as much as i love my wife. Hahaha. She'll be mad for sure reading this. This hobby is consuming a lot of money but to me it is all worth it. Me am out for now. Buh bye.
The Funky Food : Creamy Pumpkin Spaghetti

Food fanatic. I am a food fanatic. How do you know that you are a food fanatic? I know i am because i'll be grumpy if my food taste is not on par to my standards. I am blessed to have the most amazing cook in my life, my mother. I can assure you that no one cooks as good as her. I love to cook and watch others cook. It's actually not that long ago i started cooking. It all started with the cooking shows on tv. Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen and Bravo's Top Chef. It inspired me to learn more about food and indulge myself into them.
What i did today was creamy pumpkin spaghetti, a recipe i got from a japanese cooking channel on youtube. Pumpkin was never the vegetable of choice for me. But i love the vibrant yellow color of the dish and for me, anything creamy or cheesy will always taste good. The recipe is so simple with very few ingredients. That is what i like about pastas. They are so easy and quick to make. This is also the first time i cook using a pumpkin.
The ingredients are as follows
1. Your protein of choice. (I used chicken, but in my opinion turkey bacon should be the best)
2. Blended pumpkin
3. Fresh milk
4. Fresh cream
5. Salt and pepper.
It took only 15 minutes or less to prepare this dish. As far as the taste, i really like it. It is the perfect choice of spaghetti for me since i like mine to be creamy. It is very well balanced and not too heavy because the rich components come from just the milk and cream without any additional cheese. The wife is not a big fan though mainly because of the pumpkin. She really hates pumpkins. Overall, a dish so simple like this is very suitable for those in a hurry and having a hectic days ahead. Please do try it yourself at home.

The Flamboyant Gamer : Megaman 4
This game is very close to my heart as this is the first megaman i 've played during my childhood. I was just 6 years old if i'm not mistaken. At that time, contra, super mario bros and adventure island are some of the games that i really like and spent
most on. So, my initial experience of megaman 4 was a bit confusing. The game starts of with 8 different kinds of robots to choose from. Each having their own unique level. Those days, the game itself was a bit challenging as i have no idea what to do, where to go and how to beat the bosses. However, i do remember that i managed to beat Pharoah Man. Best of all, i don't even know how the buster shot works at that time. Only later that i accidentally found out how to charge your main weapon.
Frustrated of not being able to proceed further in the game makes me stop playing it completely. Few years later, my older brother begged my father for an SNES. Haha i can still remember how he cried for it. In fact, even my father still remembers very clearly about the incidence until this day.The SNES is what got me back to the Megaman series. This time is the Megaman X. Immediately, i am in love with the game. Played it every single day and getting better each time. But, despite spending most of my time with the game i still couldn't defeat the final boss, Sigma. Subsequently, i bought the sequel Megaman X2 at our local Toys R Us. I'm so addicted to this game. Finally i managed to complete one of the games in the series, the Megaman X3 on the playstation. Again, if i'm not mistaken this was around the year 2000. I can still remember how my cousin will react watching me playing Megaman X. She said, " Oh my god, you are still playing this old game with the blue guy on it". I laughed at her reaction.
Almost 20 years since i've played Megaman 4 i've decided to give it a try one more time. Bought the game CIB from a member of NintendoAge. Few months before, i've completed Megaman 2 on the normal mode. After a few minutes with the Megaman 4, i've realized that the game was easier compared to Megaman 2. It took only less than half an hour for me to defeat all of the robot masters. I was thinking to myself that maybe the few stages before the final boss will be a bit tougher. I was wrong. The game was way too easy. Even Dr Willy, the end boss is defeated with ease. This is the major problem i had with Megaman 4. Each level would be better if they make it a bit lengthier with more obstacles. Even the robot masters' design were not to my liking. My favorite robot though will be Pharoah Man. He is the only robot that looks the best in my opinion. His weapon inherited to Megaman is also one of my favorite. Megaman charged a pink ball of massive destruction on top of his head. What is not to like about that! In spite of my disappointment, i have to give props to the designers to include a few secret stages. That is what i like most about the series, they should have more of it.
Megaman 4 will always brings back the nostalgia in me. Despite, it being too easy for me i do enjoy the game. The gameplay is what makes Capcom's blue bomber stands out amongst others. It has good replayability and to be honest i will play it again one day. In fact, i might do a speedrun of it just for the sake of challenging myself. Go try it yourself and do your own evaluation. I'm sure it'll be fun. Happy gaming : )

The First Post
WOW I AM ACTUALLY CREATING MY OWN OR SO TO SAY OUR OWN BLOG!
A brief introduction about myself,
I will be absolutely honest and critical in all my posts so whoever is reading should be prepared to feel nauseated, disgusted or flabbergasted. Haha
I'm a self-centered, selfish and easily feels annoyed with a lot of peoples' status on facebook. Ironically, despite getting easily irritated with everything i am actually a very annoying person myself especially to my beloved wife.
Just recently been married to the most beautiful person in the world on the first January 2010. Life has been pretty good so far, Alhamdulillah. It has been almost a year of marriage and i'm up with the challenges ahead of me.
Currently, me and wife are a final medical students in India. Tomorrow, is actually the day of my surgery clinical examination. What better day to choose to create a blog right?
It's has been almost 4 years here in India and fortunately we survive. I can't wait to be back in Malaysia for good and be close to my family.
So why choose to create this blog?
Well, that is indeed an excellent question. To be honest, i'm a very shy person who doesn't feel comfortable to express his feeling to the entire world. My utmost passion is video game. That is the one thing that really makes me feel good about myself. I love to collect stuff ever since i was a child. Anything, you name it comic, toys, pebbles, etc etc. My first key word on the youtube browser was 'video game collection'. I watched a video of a person showing off his massive collection of videogames and i immediately got hooked. That is the day i've made a decision that i too will start collecting video games. So, i've been lurking around the internet browsing for infos, looking at wikipedia, searching through google anything possible that i could find about video games. The 8-bit era is the pinnacle of video games in my opinion due to the fact that it was my first gaming experience and hell yeah it was fun and addicting. It really gives me the nostalgic feeling whenever i see and play the retro games. I've become a member of NintendoAge, a community which consists of gamer enthusiasts especially for the nintendo entertainment system aka NES. Through them i have learned and gained a lot of confidence in myself or so to speak. Never once i thought that i could meet amazing and friendly people through the internet.
So, this blog is created to show case and share my love for video games as well as my day to day experience in life.
